(“TransMedics”) (NASDAQ:TMDX), a medical technology company that is transforming organ transplant therapy for patients with end-stage lung, heart and liver failure, today announced the closing of its initial public offering of 6,543,500 shares of its common stock at an initial public offering price of $16.00 per share, including 853,500 shares sold pursuant to the exercise in full of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares. The gross proceeds from the offering were approximately $104.7 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses. The shares commenced trading on The Nasdaq Global Market on May 2, 2019 under the ticker symbol “TMDX.” All of the shares were sold by TransMedics.
Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan acted as joint lead book-running managers for the offering. Cowen and Canaccord Genuity acted as co-managers for the offering.
