Apple Inc. (AAPL) launched its Watch Series 6 and Watch SE in October. So far, people were getting a discount in a range of $15 to $20 on the wearable devices. However, they can now enjoy a discount of up to $50 on the wearable device starting today.
Target Corp. is now offering Apple Watch SE for $230, marking a discount of $50 for the latest smartwatch that has been rolled out just a month ago. The aforesaid price cut is for the smaller 40mm model.
The Watch SE is an affordable substitute to the Apple Watch Series 6, though it has comparatively fewer features. Both the devices are water resistant and offer similar resolution and display, but the Series 6 is available in multiple designs and colors, thus giving customers more options.
Moreover, the Series 6 has more advanced chipset as compared to SE, which has the S5 system. However, the iPhone maker said in a statement that SE is two times faster than Series 3 launched in 2017. Another notable difference is that Series 6’s display is always on and users don’t have to tap the display or raise their wrist to check notifications.
People looking to buy the LTE-enabled model can also avail the $50 discount. The version is now selling at a price of $310 at Target, as compared to the usual price of $360. This is the biggest discount customers can get, as previously the prices were trimmed by around $20.
Lastly, the discount available at Target will only last for a couple of more days, as the deal ends on November 8.
